Braeden Allen

Biography

I am a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of New Haven, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity. My studies are focused within the prestigious NSA Cyber Operations track, a rigorous program that has provided me with a deep, practical understanding of both offensive and defensive security principles, secure coding practices, and the architecture of modern digital systems.

My problem-solving approach combines my technical experience in both red and blue team operations with a creative outlook. This allows me to deliver solutions that are secure-by-design and aligned with the most current industry security frameworks. I am committed to continuous learning to stay adaptable in the fast-paced world of cybersecurity.

Career Aspirations

My future career aspirations are centered around becoming a leader in the cybersecurity field, where I can leverage my skills to protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data. I aim to bring my experience and expertise to a team that challenges me and supports continuous growth—allowing me to expand and deepen my knowledge across areas such as offensive and defensive security, threat intelligence, and secure system design.

In the long term, I hope to play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that stay ahead of evolving threats, while mentoring others and contributing to a stronger, more secure digital future.

Personal Interests

Outside of my professional pursuits, I have built a brand for myself as a DJ. Music has always been an outlet for my creativity, and I enjoy the process of crafting an envrionement where people can bond and create memories over the music I play.

You can also find me watching sports, especially the latest premier league game (COYS), or exploring new resturants and foods. I do also enjoy puzzles and learning in my free time, which has directly translated to my offensive cyber skills in HackTheBox in a game like fashion, pivoting around the system in attempt to gain root access.
